Our XL Anchovies in Extra Virgin Olive Oil are the result of an artisanal process that respects tradition and guarantees the highest quality. Caught exclusively in the Cantabrian Sea (FAO Zone 27), these anchovies are aged for a minimum of 12-18 months, giving them their characteristic color and aroma.
Thanks to this controlled ripening process, we obtain anchovy fillets with minimal salinity (7.3 g per 100 g of anchovy) and a unique, smooth yet firm texture, making them irresistible to the most discerning palates. Each can is embellished with extra virgin olive oil, which further enhances their natural flavor.
XL Anchovies are certified with the Cantabria Quality Seal and the Anchovies of Cantabria Seal, which guarantees that the entire production process, from fishing to packaging, is carried out manually at our facilities in Santoña, Cantabria. These anchovies are ideal to enjoy alone or as part of salads, tapas, or accompanied by toasted bread.
