Etxenike's Truffled Duck Foie Gras Bloc is the result of a fine, creamy emulsion made with foie gras from corn-fed ducks and crowned with a central truffle (Tuber melanosporum), providing a deep and elegant aroma. This is not just any truffle-infused foie gras: this bloc contains 4% truffle, far exceeding the minimum required to use this designation, which translates into real flavor, balance, and authenticity.
Behind this product is Etxenike, an artisan company founded in the early 1990s in Burguete (Navarra) by Mitxel Etxenike, a leading figure in the production of duck products. Its history, recognized with the designation of Artisan Company of Navarra, the Reyno Gourmet seal, and the highest level of SAE certification, guarantees a firm commitment to quality, process control, and respect for raw materials.
At the table, this foie gras requires delicate handling: chill it beforehand, let it come to room temperature for a few minutes, and slice it thinly—never to spread, but to savor in small portions.
