It is eaten with a spoon, opening the top of the cheese, or spreading it on toast, although it also offers multiple applications in the culinary field. Raw sheep's milk cheese, hand-pressed and carefully made in the traditional way. Its flavour is smooth but very personal and persistent on the palate, with hints of the countryside due to its vegetable rennet, and its very creamy, almost liquid texture, the result of daily and continuous turning, which melts deliciously on the palate.

Take spread on small toasts
Together with honey combining the sweet flavor and the more intense flavor of the Retort.

Desde Trujillo, cuna de quesos con historia, llega esta delicia cremosa que se toma con cuchara o untada en pan. La Retorta es un queso artesano elaborado con leche cruda de oveja, prensado a mano y afinado con mimo y tradición. Su textura casi líquida es fruto del volteo diario y el cuidado durante la maduración.
El resultado es un bocado suave, lleno de matices, que se funde en la boca dejando un recuerdo largo y auténtico. Un queso que no necesita estridencias para destacar. Solo ganas de disfrutarlo como se merece.
Ingredientes: Leche cruda de Oveja, cardo y sal.
Recomendaciones: Mantener refrigerado entre 6º y 10º. Consumir entre 18º-20º
