Red wine Abadía Retuerta Special Selection

Selección Especial is the first wine from Abadía Retuerta, in which the best wines from the vintage are selected and blended, coming from the separate vinification of the 54 plots into which the winery's vineyards have been classified. It is mainly made with the native variety of the Duero Valley, Tempranillo, and is complemented with other varieties from the estate that are chosen by tasting. The aim is to balance the particularities of the vintage and preserve the style that characterises this wine.

Selección Especial is a faithful reflection of the vintage, the terroir and the personality of Abadía Retuerta.

Vintage: 2019 (Last unit of 2019, for orders of two bottles, 2019 and 2020 will be served)

Aging: 12 months in French and American oak barrels

Grape type: 64% Tempranillo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Syrah, 6% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot

Alcohol content: 14.5% vol.

Recommended consumption temperature: 17-18 ºC.
