Doña Burra Red Wine

Doña Burra is one of those wines born to surprise. An author's wine crafted by the Montemundo winery in the heart of the Sierra del Segura, where altitude, a mountain climate, and calcareous soils give rise to wines with a very distinct personality.
The vineyard is located at 1,132 meters above sea level, trained in goblet and pruned with respect. This mountain environment, with deep, stony soils, allows for grapes with excellent natural acidity, great freshness, and a very characteristic aromatic intensity.
The winemaking also reflects the wine's free spirit. Fermentation is carried out with whole bunches, contributing structure and aromatic complexity. After about ten days of maceration at a controlled temperature, the wine undergoes eight months of aging in 500-liter French oak barrels and demijohns, where it rounds out without losing its vibrant character.
Furthermore, this vintage is particularly exclusive: only 750 bottles have been produced, making Doña Burra a unique wine for those who enjoy discovering small, characterful projects.
