There are Murcian wineries that, when they release something new, you have to get your hands on. De Nariz is one of them.
And now comes La Martínez 2025, a new Monastrell from Bullas that is crying out for a table, good company, and a few things from D’12 to go with it. Because a wine like this isn't opened to be enjoyed alone.
Try it, set up the appetizers, and let the fun begin.
La Martínez 2025 is a new Monastrell from De Nariz, one of those Murcian wineries worth keeping on your radar. Behind the project is Pedro Martínez, winner of "La Nariz de Oro," with a clear commitment to highlighting the value of Monastrell and the great vineyards of the Region of Murcia.
It comes from an old, dry-farmed, head-trained Monastrell vineyard located in Venta del Pino, Cehegín, at an altitude of 850 meters. The soil consists of limestone pebbles, dolomite, and flint, which help give it that very particular mineral character.
In the glass, it is fresh, vertical, and brilliant, with lively fruit, a round and balanced palate, and a mineral finish. Aging in French oak provides complexity and structure without masking the personality of the grape.
A perfect wine to accompany cured meats, aged cheeses, meats, rice dishes, and a good Mediterranean appetizer.
And if there is also a table full of D’12 products and good company, all the better.
