It's called Tintafina… but Laura is the one in charge here. Oenologist, soul, and key piece of this project.
A very D’12 wine: modern, with character, but without forgetting the classics. One of those that have history, personality, and know how to make a statement at the table.
A Ribera del Duero that doesn't come to accompany… it comes to stay.
Recommended pairing: red meats, rich rice dishes, and a platter of charcuterie + strong cheeses.
Tintafina 2021 is a Ribera del Duero with a contemporary vision and a lot of character.
Behind it is Casa Rojo, a winery that breaks with the classic without losing respect for wine. Modern aesthetics, rogue attitude… but very serious wines.
This wine is also a tribute to Laura, an enologist and a key part of the project. And it shows: there's intent, care… and soul.
In the glass, dark fruit like blackberries and currants, with a hint of herbs and well-integrated wood that provides elegance. On the palate, it is fleshy, structured, and balanced, with a long finish that invites another sip.
A wine with personality, one of those that are not forgotten.
At D'12 Gourmet, from Águilas (Murcia), we are clear: this one doesn't just accompany… it makes the moment.
Visual: Intense cherry red with violet reflections, clean and bright.
Nose: Very expressive, with aromas of blackberries and currants, accompanied by notes of thyme and sage. Elegant background of cedar, leather, clove, and toasted French oak.
Palate: Fleshy and powerful, with good structure. Elegant, balanced tannins and a long, persistent finish.
