Volandia Red Wine

Volandia is a single-varietal Mencía red wine, handcrafted from old vines nestled on the steep terraces of the Ribeira Sacra. Aged in French oak barrels from renowned cooperages, this limited-production wine stands out for its elegance, complexity, and aging potential.
As time passes in the glass, it unfolds a range of aromas, from red and black fruits to floral, balsamic, and spicy notes. The palate is round and silky, with well-integrated acidity that provides liveliness and structure.

Visual: Cherry red color, clean and bright.
Nose: As the wine opens in the glass, its aromatic range expands: cherries, blackberries, blueberries, damp earth, mushrooms, violets, and jasmine. Spicy notes of thyme and black pepper also emerge, along with balsamic nuances and black licorice.
Palate: A sweet, round, and silky wine. Well-integrated acidity keeps it lively and energetic. The fruit remains in balance with the freshness, offering a long and expressive finish.
