Calma & Chicha's scallop-sauce zamburiñas arrive from the north with a lot of character and even more flavor. Between 14 and 18 carefully selected pieces, bathed in a scallop sauce with tomato, onion, and spices that gives them that savory, seafaring touch that begs for bread.
Calma & Chicha embraces a more laid-back approach to canned goods, but behind this line is the expertise of El Capricho de Santoña, a company with a canning tradition in Cantabria. Here, the design may be playful, but the product is taken very seriously.
Perfect for kicking off a round of canned goods, accompanying a vermouth, a craft beer, or a fresh white wine. They also work wonderfully on toast, with a bit of bread to soak up every last drop of that sauce.
